The Club Restaurant and Lounge is Chelmsford City Racecourse’s premier dining experience located on the first floor of the Grandstand. 

The Fairwood Brasserie is situated on the ground floor of the Grandstand along the final furlong of home straight and boasts the best views of the winning line from its private terrace.

The marquees are also an exceptional venue for private events such as conferences, exhibitions and private parties in the summer.

Open to all racegoers on all racedays, the Sports Bar is the prime place to enjoy an action-packed day of racing from. Featuring two large bars, incredible views of the home straight and multiple betting facilities.

Chelmsford City Racecourse opened its doors in 2015 and since then has gone on to become one of the busiest racecourses in the UK. By providing some of the highest prize-money in British racing, the racecourse routinely attracts some of the most successful and prominent trainers and jockeys in the world.

We also hold an amazing array of concerts and festivals from a wide range of acts; from the likes of Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Razorlight, Boyzone, and Steps to tribute acts for bands such as Queen and ABBA.
